Phone and SMS scams

You may sometimes encounter fake ads with attractively low prices. Those ads contain phone numbers with additional charges for outgoing calls or call offers to another number (i.e. short numbers) again with additional charges for so called information provision.

Auto.am sends SMS only in case we need confirmation of the phone number, which you submitted during the registration. Our SMS contains 4-digit code, which you should enter in the corresponding field to confirm the provided phone number.

We never send messages, which require response. Never answer to similar messages.

We never provide a third party with customers’ data, except for cases when it is required by the law, when corresponding document from law enforcement structures is available.

We never use customers’ phone numbers for making commercial offers.

Please, Contact us if such a case happens.
